Child Safety Standards

This page sets out the standards that CoupleSwap applies against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). CoupleSwap is a mobile app and website operated by Couple Swap LLC, the developer of the CoupleSwap app. These standards apply to every part of the service, to every account, and to every piece of content on the platform.
CoupleSwap is an adults only service for verified members aged 18 and over. Minors are not permitted to create an account or to use the service in any way. These standards apply regardless of that restriction.
This page is public. You do not need an account and you do not need to sign in to read it.
Definitions We Use
We use the definitions below throughout this page. A child, or minor, is any person under the age of 18.
- CSAE (child sexual abuse and exploitation): content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, and any other sexual exploitation of a child.
- CSAM (child sexual abuse material): any visual depiction, including photographs, videos, and computer generated imagery, involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Our Prohibition on CSAE and CSAM
Couple Swap LLC has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The following is prohibited on CoupleSwap without exception, without warning, and regardless of intent, context, framing, or claimed artistic or educational purpose:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Any sexualized depiction of a minor, including drawn, animated, edited, or computer generated imagery
- Grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes
- Sextortion of a minor, or threatening to share sexual content involving a minor
- Trafficking of a minor, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor
- Soliciting, offering, requesting, producing, or distributing CSAM
- Linking to, advertising, or directing any person to CSAM or to CSAE material
- Sexual or romantic solicitation of a minor through any CoupleSwap feature
- Creating or using an account on behalf of, or in the name of, a minor
- Presenting a minor as available for any activity described on this platform
Any account involved in the conduct above is terminated permanently. There is no appeal path and no second chance for a confirmed CSAE violation.
Keeping Minors Off the Platform
Access to CoupleSwap is restricted to adults. The controls below are in place:
- A date of birth gate at sign up. An applicant who does not meet the minimum age of 18 cannot proceed.
- Mandatory email verification. An account cannot continue to identity verification until the registered email address is confirmed.
- Mandatory identity verification. Every applicant must submit a government issued identity document and a selfie. The profile stays inactive and does not appear anywhere on the platform until that verification is reviewed and approved.
- The app is distributed with an adults only target audience on Google Play, and access by minors is restricted at the store level.
- Providing false age or identity information is a violation of our Terms of Service and results in removal from the platform.
If we determine that an account holder is under 18, the account is deactivated and removed and the data associated with it is deleted.
How to Report a Suspected Violation
Anyone can report suspected CSAE, suspected CSAM, or a suspected minor on the platform. You do not need to be certain, and you do not need proof. Report it and let us review it.
In the App (Preferred)
Reporting is built into the CoupleSwap app and is available from three places:
- The profile screen of the account you want to report
- The chat screen of any conversation
- The Safety section inside the app
Select the account, choose Report, and pick a reason. The reason list includes Underage for a profile that appears to belong to someone under 18. Use the description field to add anything that helps our review, such as what was said or sent. You can also block the account so it can no longer contact you or see your profile.
By Email
If you cannot use the in app report, or you are not a CoupleSwap member, email our child safety contact:
Please include what you can:
- The subject line: Child safety report
- The username or profile name of the account involved
- Where you saw it (profile, chat, or another part of the app)
- What happened, and the approximate date and time
Do not attach, forward, or resend suspected child sexual abuse material. Describe it in words instead. Possessing and transmitting that material is a criminal offense in most jurisdictions, including when it is done in order to report it.
If a Child Is in Immediate Danger
CoupleSwap is not an emergency service. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first. You can also report suspected child sexual exploitation directly to the authorities in your country. In the United States, reports can be submitted to the CyberTipline operated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at report.cybertip.org. Reporting to the authorities does not replace reporting to us, and reporting to us does not replace contacting the authorities.
How We Handle CSAE Reports and CSAM
Every report creates a case record with its own reference in our review system. Reports that involve a minor, suspected CSAM, or any other CSAE concern are treated as the highest priority category and are moved ahead of all other report types. When a report of this kind is received, or when we otherwise become aware of the conduct through any channel, we do the following:
- Review. Our team reviews the case record and the account it names. Where the report concerns suspected CSAM, the material is not opened, copied, downloaded, or shared beyond what is strictly necessary to act on the report.
- Remove. Content that violates these standards is removed from the platform.
- Terminate. The account is suspended and then permanently terminated and removed from the platform. Where the profile is shared with a partner, the shared profile is suspended in the same action.
- Preserve. The account record, the report, and the associated evidence are preserved where the law requires or permits us to preserve them, so that they remain available to law enforcement. Preserved records are held separately and are not returned to the platform.
- Report and cooperate. We report confirmed and suspected CSAM to law enforcement and to the child protection reporting body designated in the applicable jurisdiction, as required by law. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement and from child protection authorities, and we cooperate with their investigations.
We do not require a user report before we act. If we become aware of a violation of these standards through our own review, through law enforcement, or through a report from Google, the same process applies.
Filing a knowingly false report is itself a violation of our Terms of Service. That does not change our instruction above: if you are unsure, report it, and we will review it.
Child Safety Point of Contact
Couple Swap LLC maintains a dedicated contact for child safety matters. This address is the designated point of contact for CSAE and CSAM issues, and it is the channel for members, for members of the public, for law enforcement, for child protection organizations, and for Google Play:
Reports about a child in immediate danger should go to local emergency services or law enforcement first, as described above.
Compliance and Review
These standards are published in line with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and apply to the CoupleSwap app distributed on Google Play. Couple Swap LLC complies with the child safety laws that apply in the jurisdictions where the service operates.
We review these standards as the product changes and as our legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
